About Prepbox

What is Prepbox?

Prepbox is a weekly food subscription service. Pick a plan (5, 7, or 10 meals a week), and fill up your cart with items from the Signature or Keto-friendly menu. 

Where are your meals cooked?

All meals are prepped at our SFA certified central kitchen.

How does it work?

It’s simple! Pick you meal plan under "PRICING" and fill up your cart with meals from our menu. You can plan your meals up to 4 weeks in advance.

When carting out, you will be charged for the meal plan for the coming week only. Your weekly meal will be delivered once a week to your door step

Is the food halal?

PrepBox is not halal-certified, even though our food is prepared by Halal Certified kitchen- Shiok Kitchen Catering

How are your food prepared?

Our food is chilled, never frozen! That way your meals remain tasty, and nutrients are kept intact.

Do you work with a nutritionist?

We work with Health Promotion Board certified nutritionist to analyse our food and recipe.

Plans & Subscription

What am I committing to by subscribing to a meal plan?

Apart from the freshly packed tasty meals, sent to your doorstep weekly, nothing else! Subscribers will be billed on a weekly basis.

Do you have trials?

Yes. Not sure if this will be your cup of tea? We have a 1 week trial for you newbies. When choosing your plan, you will be prompted to proceed as Trial order or Subscribe. Do note that delivery charge will apply for trial order.

When do I have to make my order?

Our menu refreshes every Thursday noon. So pick your meals for the coming week before that.

 

If you didn't manage to pick your meals in time, don’t worry! You will still get your meals, our chef will surprise you with his personal picks. We are confident you'll like it.

Can I change my meal plan as a subscriber?

Yes you can change your plans anytime, whether to change the meal type or the number of meals a week. Visit your PROFILE, click "Change Plan" under your Subscription. You will be prompted to pick a new plan, fill up your cart for the coming week and check out. You know the drill.

 

The plan change will take effect on the next unbilled cycle. 

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you may cancel your subscription at any time, provided that you do so at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid being charged the subscription fee of the subsequent week. Visit your PROFILE to cancel plan.

Can I change my meal selection after I have carted out?

Yes, you can change it anytime, as long as it is done before every Thursday noon. 

Will I still get my meal if I couldn't make my meal selection before Thursday 12 noon?

Yes! Our team will be sending you gentle reminders prior to the cut off time every Thursday 12noon. However, if no meal selection is made, you will still get your boxes. Our chef will surprise you with his personal picks. We are confident you'll like it!

Meals & Menu

How often do you change the menu selection?

We do weekly rotation of the menu and has new addition to the list every now and then. We recommend trying 4 weeks of healthy menu and following 4 weeks of keto-friendly menu. They all taste good!

What is the serving per box?

Each box is good for one pax. The portioning is planned according to the recommended calorie intake for an adult male/female by Health Promotion Board.

How long can the PrepBoxes be kept?

Our PrepBoxes are made fresh, vacuum sealed with nitrogen to retain the freshness for up to 7 days in the chiller. To be sure, please refer to the best before date on your boxes.

What kind of food do you serve?

We are currently offering a range of cuisines including Western, Thai, Chinese, Local, Japanese and more! Menu rotates every week. Go to our menu page to see what's cooking.

How is the nurtitional information calculated?

Our team work closely with a local certfied nutritionist to design our meals, making sure the ingredients used, cooking method and portioning not only mee the daily intake requirement as recommended by Health Promotion Board, but also provide accurate nutritional information to make educated decisions on your food choices and lifestyle.

How can I heat up my meals?

Quickest way is to pop the PrepBox into your microwave, on high heat, microwave for appoximately 3-4 minutes, or till the food is fully heated.

 

Alternatively, you can remove the contents from the box, onto a plate suitable for steaming. Leave it in the steamer for approximately 5 minutes, or till the food is fully heated.

Can I store the food into the freezer so I can keep them for a longer time?

By right, no.

 

By left, it’s your life, you can decide! However, please note that the food quality and taste will change during the process and our chef recommends to keep it in the chiller.

The existing plans are not enough to feed me for the week. How can I order more?

Account & Billing

When do I get billed for my meals?

For trial orders, you will be charged for your one week trial meal upon checking out. 

 

As for subscribers, the meal for the first week will be charged every Thursday noon. Subsequently, weekly recurring billing applies. Recurring payment date may vary depending on date of first subscription.

If I cancel my meal plan, when does it take effect?

You may cancel your subscription at any time, and it has to be done at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid being charged the subscription fee of the subsequent week. Cancellation will always take effect on your next unbilled cycle.

Delivery

When will my food be delivered?

Once your order is confirmed on Thursday noon, your meal will be delivered on Sundays and Mondays, for now. You will be prompted to select your preferred timeslot after checking out. 

 

Otherwise, login to your account and update your delivery details and time slots at your PROFILE.

What are the delivery charges like?

Delivery charge is waived for all subscribers. Charges will apply for trial users starting from $6.

Is there a minimum order for delivery?

Minimum order for delivery would be 5 boxes weekly.

What are the timeslots for delivery like?

You can check the available slots after carting out. Timings right now are 8am-11am, 11am-2pm, 2pm-5pm, 5pm-8pm.

I can’t find a time slot that I want.

Delivery slots are limited for now because we are trying to keep the delivery cost low. We will let you know when we have additional slots added to the list.

Do you deliver island-wide? Any additional costs for delivering to areas like Sentosa?

There will be additional surcharge for delivering to area like Sentosa and Tuas.

What happens if there is no one to collect the food when it's delivered?

The food is delivered in an insulated bag with ice packs inside. We will leave the bag at your door and it should be able to keep the cool for up to maximum an hour.

How do I amend my delivery details?

To update your preferred delivery details for the next drop, visit your PROFILE, and make the changes there. As usualy, orders are locked down on every Thursdays noon, so changes to your delivery details after Thursday noon will not take effect for the upcoming drop, but the next one after.

Can I request for self-pick-up?

At the moment we do not have self-pick up options available. Leave your email in the newsletter section, and we will update you once we have a physical store.

Who is a PrepBox Ambassador?

Our ambassadors are individuals coming from different walks of life, sharing a common goal of eating healthily & nutritionally and to make the world a better place. These awesome people spread PrepBox beliefs through a continuous expression of their love for healthy living while earning cash along the way!

What is the next step after confirming as an ambassador?

By becoming an ambassador, you’ll get access to cool perks, plus a unique referral code for your friends, family, followers, and a lifetime discount! A confirmation email will be sent to you to collect and share additional information about the programme. A $10 commission is given on every successful referral.

Who can become an ambassador?

To be a PrepBox Ambassador, the most important thing is to have tried our product(s) before and the email address used to sign up with us has a purchase history record. You are also required to be active on Instagram and over the age of 18. We are currently accepting applications from folks residing in Singapore only!

How do I get paid for my referral?

To make Ambassador payments as easy as possible, we pay Ambassador commissions via Bank transfer monthly. To apply as an Ambassador, you are required to share with us your bank details. As long as you have a local bank account, we are good to go!
